We have been learning all about Africa this half term. We have been reading 'Handa's Surprise' in writing and we have also learnt how to play the the African drums. We had a go at creating our own music on the drums.
Chinese New Year
Year 2 have celebrated Chinese New Year this week. They acted out the story before writing their own story books. Once they had done that, the children looked at Chinese New Year decorations before having a go at making their own. Take a look at our lanterns, paper dragons and other decorations.
