Monday: This week you'll be doing writing based around the story 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. Click on this PowerPoint and read up to slide 15 to learn how to use rich and varied vocabulary to write effective descriptions. When it tells you to watch a clip, use this link to watch Lucy entering the wardrobe.

Tuesday: Continue to use this PowerPoint. Read from slide 16-25 to learn how to use figurative language.

Wednesday: Continue to use this PowerPoint. Read from slide 26-35 to continue learning how to use figurative language. Read these Pobble examples and highlight examples of figurative language used in them.

Thursday:  Continue to use this PowerPoint. Read from slide 36-42 to start drafting the first two paragraphs of your description, using all the skills you have been learning this week.

Friday: Continue to use this PowerPoint. Read from slide 43-46 and write your final setting description of Narnia!

Tuesday: History - Read this PowerPoint to learn about two different Anglo-Saxon kings - King Alfred the Great and King Athelstan. Then use this information sheet to help you write a speech in which you choose one of the kings and try to explain why you are the best one! Thursday: Art: Use different sketching techniques to draw your own Viking longboat!

Friday: RE: Read through this PowerPoint to start learning about morals in Bible stories. Watch the video in link and read these stories - Moses and the ten commandmentsNativity story and the Rich fool - , then try to decide what you think the moral of each story is.
