Listen to Chris O'Dowd read the story 'Arnie the Doughnut'

Phonics:

Today we would like you to have a go at creating your own word search using the sound 'ur'. Think of 10 words with the 'ur' sound. Write them into the table and then fill the empty boxes with random letters.

It's 'Big Write' day! Today we would like you to write a set of instructions on how to make a fruit smoothie.

Remember to;

use capital letters and full stops
use imperative 'bossy' verbs
use adjectives and conjunctions

Today we would like you to create an S plan for your instructions on how to make a healthy smoothie. Draw a big S on some paper and then draw a picture to show what you need to do at each step. Act out the steps to help you remember the order.

We hope you have enjoyed the weekend and didn't get caught in any of the rain. Even though some children are returning to school today, we will still be setting work on this page everyday for the children still learning at home. Keep working hard and sending us your work.
