SATS Week 2020

Good morning Year 6! As you all know this week should have been SATs week - a week where we all show off our skills, eat lots of toast and feel extremely proud of ourselves. SATs Week 2020 is a week that no Year 6 has ever experienced before - no school and no SATs - so we have some special messages from your teachers to remind you all just how amazing you are!

Mrs Kerton

Hello Year 6!

I hope that you and your families are safe and well. I miss you, your smiling faces and lovely personalities.

I know that today would have been the start of your SATs week. I am so proud of all you have achieved so far this year and I hope you are too. Continue to shine as our Moston Lane Superstars! Well done Year 6!

Miss Adams

Morning everyone!

I hope that you are continuing to stay safe with your families and enjoying spending time together, despite the strange times in which we find ourselves.

As you all know, this week would have been SATs week, a time when you should have been able to show just how much you have learnt in your time at Moston Lane. Try not to feel down about not having this opportunity. Keep in mind how proud I am of you all and continue to be the wonderful, shining Moston Lane stars that you are.  Keep working hard, keep using your amazing knowledge to complete the online learning but most important of all, continue to keep yourselves and your families safe.

I'm missing you and thinking of you lots. Hope to see you again really soon.

Lots of love

Miss Adams x

Mr Thompson

Hi everyone, we hope that you and your families are staying safe, fit and healthy during these strange times. Everyone at Moston Lane is so proud of all of your efforts in staying at home, keeping everyone safe and also the vast amounts of work that you've been getting through. We're really sorry that we can't see you all at school this week for SATs because we know how hard you've all worked this year in preparation. However, we do hope that we can all be back together soon when it's safe to do so. Continue to take care and don't forget to exercise indoors and outdoors once a day following social distancing rules.

See you all soon!

Mr Thompson

Miss Ginty

Hi year six, I hope you are all doing well.

I have enjoyed our telephone conversations and I am really pleased to hear all about the new skills that you have been learning. I am really proud of you all and how you have continued working hard with your learning in these strange times. I miss you all and I am hoping we can all be together again soon. Look after yourselves and your families and do something everyday that makes you smile.

See you all soon,

Miss Ginty

Mr Harding

Hello Year 6,

We hope that you and your families are all well and keeping safe. It’s been fantastic to speak to so many of you and hear about all the activities you have been up to. We love hearing that so many of you are choosing to do something different or something you have never done before. It sounds like you have all become master chefs and bakers! You should be very proud about challenging yourself and trying something new.

We are very proud of your efforts in staying at home, keeping everyone safe and completing your online work. Please continue to work hard with this and remember to get daily exercise.

Stay safe and hopefully see you very soon!

Mr Harding

Miss Kay

Hi guys,

I hope you are all keeping well and keeping your spirits up. I am honestly missing you all like crazy and can not wait to see all of your faces as soon as it is safe to do so. I can only imagine how frustrated you all feel not being able to sit the SATs this week, that I can vouch you have all worked extremely hard for throughout year 5 and your time in year 6. Please keep being the best you can be, like the Moston Lane super stars we know you  are, and keep doing what you are doing by staying home and staying safe. Hopefully we will all be together again soon for you to fulfill your final experiences of being in primary school.

Love and best wishes always,

Miss Kay xxx

Mrs Parkinson

Hello everyone,

Firstly, I just want to let you know how much I miss you all. I am even missing being asked to go to the toilet every 5 minutes, whether you can take a ball outside and even those interesting homework excuses!

You should be so proud of yourselves and remember that even though you can’t show off your skills in a test, that you can show off things that are even more important - your resilience, your kindness and your amazing personalities.

Please continue to stay safe and in touch.

Love from

Mrs Parkinson x

Miss Tomlinson

Hi everyone in Year 6,

I hope you and your families are all staying safe and looking after each other during these unusual times. I've heard that you're working hard and making us extremely proud with your continued effort every day you're not in school. As you probably already know, this week would have been SATs week. We are all really sorry we are unable to see you as we know how much effort and revision you put into each school day ready for this week. I hope we all get to see each other very soon and to see the end of your time at Moston Lane together as a team.

We miss you all so much, take care of yourselves, keep up the good work.

See you all soon.

Love Miss Tomlinson
