Follow the link. Choose a story to listen to from Audible. Listen carefully! When you have finished, retell the story to a grown-up.

Use these questions to help you:

What kind of book was it? Fiction or non-fiction?

Who were the main characters?

Where and when was the book set?

What were the most important events in the story?

What was your favourite moment in the story?

When they have finished the test, become the teacher! Mark their test (you will have to work out the answers) and give them their score.

While you are at home, you will be spending lots more time online! Therefore, it is EXTREMELY important to remind yourself of the importance of e-safety!

 

Here are the key principles:

- Always tell an adult if something worries or upsets you online

- Ask an adult if you are unsure about the content of a webpage

- Only access web pages you have been instructed to access

- Never share personal information (passwords, name, age, school, photographs)

- Use safe searches e.g Kiddle

- Always be kind to others online - think about the effect that your words could have on somebody reading them

- Remember to take a break from screen time!
