In Design & Technology, we have designed and made our own moving monsters. Not only did we investigated how we could make our monsters move, we also thought about our audience and how we could make it suitable for them.
Asda Food Shopping
In Maths, we have been putting our money skills to the test. We found products that we would like to buy and added up the amounts to work how much we would need to buy them.
As part of our 'Plants' topic in science, we dissected flowers and identified all the different parts. We then learnt the importance of the different parts and why plants need them.
As part of our Design & Technology topic in Spring 1, we designed, made and evaluated our own smoothies. We tasted and tested a variety of smoothies and looked at different types of packaging, in order to help us with our own designs. After that, we made them and evaluated them.
Stone Age Cave Painting
As part of our History topic in Autumn 2 (The Stone Age), we looked at ways in which Stone Age people communicated. After learning that they communicated by painting in caves, we had our very own cave painting afternoon, creating messages for our peers to decode and read.
