The Childline School Service, which consists of trained volunteers, came into school to give an assembly to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 on the importance of Children’s Rights. The assembly focused on empowering children and helping children understand abuse, as well as giving them the confidence to speak out and stay safe.

Year 5 and 6 had the opportunity to further their understanding and focus on real life situations. Childline held an hour long workshop in each class. There were lots of interesting opinions and ideas in the debates we had!
