Community Primary School
Class 7 and 8 have enjoyed lots of different activities so far this year. Please explore our gallery to find out more about the exciting experiences that we have had.
On a normal, Wednesday afternoon when Year 3 were walking back to class they bumped into a real Roman waiting for them in the hall! Stunned, the children sat down to hear all about Roman life and spent the rest of the day learning interesting facts! Take a look at our photos to see what we got up to!
Manchester Museum School Trip
Year 3 were lucky enough to visit Manchester Museum to learn even more about dinosaurs and fossils! We sketched pictures as we walked around the museum and the highlight for us was definitely seeing Stan the T-Rex. As a special treat, we also took part in an interesting historical workshop about the Stone Age and became real life archaeologists! The artefacts that we found were amazing and we had a wonderful time.
Stay and Learn – Enterprise Day
As part of ‘Enterprise week’ at Moston Lane, Year 3 held a fantastic Stay and Learn to make magical Christmas tree decorations with our grown-ups. We all worked really hard to make them as pretty as possible and we finally got to sell them at our Christmas enterprise fair. They looked great on our Christmas trees at home!
